The Effects Of Electro-acupuncture At Quchi And Zusanli On Endothelin And Nitric Oxide In Different Times At Night Of SD Rats Under Different Light Times

Objective: To observe the effects of electro-acupuncture at Quchi and Zusanli on the blood pressure and the contents of plasma endothelin(ET)and serum nitric oxide(NO)in different times at night of SD rats under different light times.Methods: Fourty-eight male SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups,12 rats in each group.The normal light control group was given artificial light for 12 hours and dark time for 12 hours and fixed operation daily morning.The normal light treatment group was treated with electro-acupuncture at Quchi and Zusanli on the basis of normal light control group.The abnormal light control group was given artificial light for 18 hours and dark time for 6 hours and fixed operation daily morning.The abnormal light treatment group was treated with the electro-acupuncture at Quchi and Zusanli on the basis of the abnormal light control group.The intervention cycles of the four groups were 28 days,once a day in the morning.The blood pressure and body weight of all rats were measured before and after the intervention.After 4 weeks of intervention,12 rats in each group were randomly divided into 20 o'clock and 4 o'clock in the next day for taking blood from the femoral artery at each time,6 rats at each time.Plasma ET was measured by radioimmunoassay and serum NO was measured by nitrate reductase method.Results:1.In terms of body weight,there was no statistical difference on the body weight before treatment between the four groups(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,there was no statistical difference between the normal light control group and the normal light treatment group(P>0.05);there were statistical differences between the abnormal light control group and the abnormal light treatment group(P<0.05);there was no statistical difference between the normal light control group and the abnormal light control group(P>0.05);there was no statistical difference between the normal light treatment group and the abnormal light treatment group(P>0.05).2.Comparison of blood pressure between the four groups: There was no statistical difference on systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure before treatment between the four groups(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,there was no statistical difference on systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the four groups(P>0.05).3.Intra-group comparison of blood pressure in four groups: There was no statistical difference on systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between before and after treatment in four groups(P>0.05).4.There was no statistical difference on ET and NO after treatment between the four groups at 20 o'clock(P>0.05).5.After treatment,there was no statistical difference on plasma ET between the normal light control group and the normal light treatment group at 4 o'clock(P>0.05);there was no statistical difference on plasma ET between the abnormal light control group and the abnormal light treatment group at 4 o'clock(P>0.05);there was no statistical difference on plasma ET the normal light control group and the abnormal light control group at 4 o'clock(P>0.05);there were statistical differences on plasma ET between the normal light treatment group and the abnormal light treatment group at 4 o'clock of the next day(P<0.05).After treatment,there was no statistical difference on NO between the four groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Electro-acupuncture at Quchi and Zusanli can reduce the body weight of SD rats with abnormal light.2.Abnormal light time has no effect on blood pressure in SD rats after 4 weeks of intervention.3.Electro-acupuncture at Quchi and Zusanli can reduce the contents of plasma ET of SD rats,but it has no effects on contents of serum NO rats in the night.
