Purpose:Investigatingthedistributionlaw betweenthedemographiccharacter-istics,Laboratory parameters and the TCM syndrome types in patients with rh-eumatoid arthritis that intended to provide objective Basis for differentiationcriteria of rheumatoid arthritis.Method: The158cases of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were randomlyselected from the clinics and were divided into six syndrome types accordingto syndrome differentiations based on the traditional Chinese medicine,The sixsyndrome types were respectively the deficiency-syndrome include moist heatarthralgia syndrome、moist cold arthralgia syndrome、blood stasis syndrome、phlegm and blood stasis syndrome and the excess-syndrome include liver and kidneyyin asthenia syndrome、kidney yang asthenia syndrome.Recording the demographiccharacteristics of the patients,include name,gender,age,duration and countingresult of laboratory testing in patients with indicator,include rheumatoidfactor(RF),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),antistreptolysin O(AS0), white blood cell(WBC), platelet (PLT), hemoglobin (HGB),immunoglobulin A(IgA), immunoglobulin G(IgG), immunoglobulin M(IgM)and anti-cyclic melon polypeptide antibody(CCP),All the data were using SPSS15.0statist-ical software for analysis to explore the distribution pattern of the demographiccharacteristics and laboratory testing indicators with each syndrome types.Results:In the distribution,moist heat arthralgia syndrome accounted for29.75%,moist cold arthralgia syndrome accounted for32.28%,blood stasissyndrome accounted for6.96%,phlegm and blood stasis syndrome accounted for20.25%,liver and kidney yin asthenia syndrome accounted for8.23%,kidney yangasthenia syn-drome accounted for2.53%,the kidney yang asthenia syndrome wasso small that do not participate statistics.In overall,Male and female ratiowas1:6.18, And the following order was phlegm and blood stasis syndrome<blood stasis syndrome <moist heat arthralgia syndrome <moist cold arthralgiasyndrome<kidney yang asthenia syndrome=kidney yin asthenia syndrome.In the ageof onset,liver and kidney yin asthenia syndrome compared with moist heatarthralgia syndrome,moist cold arthralgia syndrome,blood stasis syndrome hasthe significant difference(P<0.05).In the course of the disease,phlegm andblood stasis syndrome compared with moist heat arthralgia syndrome,moist coldarthralgia syndrome,blood stasis syndrome has the significant difference(P<0.05),moist cold arthralgia syndrome compared with liver and kidney yinasthenia syndrome has the significant difference (P<0.05).In the indexes ofRF,moist cold arthralgia syndrome compared with moist heat arthralgia syndromehas the significant difference (P<0.05). The means of ESR and CRP have thesignificant difference among all the syndrome types(P<0.05).The values of theIgA,IgG and IgM have no significant difference (P>0.05).In the figures ofHGB,phlegm and blood stasis syndrome compared with moist cold arthralgiasyndrome and moist heat arthralgia syndrome have the significant difference(P<0.05).In the indexes of CCP,moist cold arthralgia syndrome compared withblood stasis syndrome and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome has the significantdifference (P<0.05).Conclusion:Moist cold arthralgia syndrome is the most common among all thesyndrome;Women prone to the disease and more vulnerable than men in theexcess-syndrome;The age of onset is40-60years and the excess-syndrome isyounger than the deficiency-syndrome;The course of disease in the excess-syndrome and the phlegm and blood stasis syndrome is more longer,The positiverate of RF and CRP protein were higher in the the deficiency-syndrome and theaverage of the moist heat arthralgia syndrome is the largest;the average of ESRis the largest in phlegm and blood stasis syndrome;IgA,IgG,IgM have no valueon TCM syndromes;HGB was significantly reduced in the excess-syndrome and thephlegm and blood stasis syndrome;The mean value of anti-cyclic melon polypeptideantibody were higher than normal and have a role in distinguishing moist cold arthralgia syndrome phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.
