Correlative Analysis Of Anthers And TCM Syndromes Of Rheumatoid Arthritis In Liaoning Province

Purpose：To study the relationship between the solar terms of rheumatoidarthritis (RA) onset and its syndrome type in Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM）.Method：Collecting the records of2,883cases of RA patients that met thecriteria and hospitalized in the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University ofTraditional Chinese Medicine from December21,2008(winter solstice)to December21,2013(the day before the winter solstice).Recording their sex,age,syndromes,course of disease,sicker time,hospitalization time,hospitalizationsolar terms and other information.Getting the time and solar terms of the RAonset.Calculating the constituent ratio of each syndrome type.Using SPSS19.0statistical software for analysis to explore the distribution pattern of thedemographic characteristics and observing whether each syndrome type has Peaktime of RA onset by circular statistical analysis.Results：1.It was observed that the number of sthenia syndrome cases was the Most,accountedfor93.34%. The incidence rate of each syndrome type was:damp-heat syndrome(41.00%)>cold-damp syndrome(31.11%)>phlegm and blood stasis syndrome(14.88%)>Blockage of blood stasis syndrome(6.35%)>liver and kidney Yin deficiencysyndrome(4.37%)>kidney qi Deficiency cold syndrome(2.29%).2.The comparison of the average course of RA patients with different syndromeswas:phlegm and blood stasis syndrome>phlegm and blood stasis syndrome>Blockageof blood stasis syndrome>damp-heat syndrome>cold-damp syndrome>kidney qiDeficiency cold syndrome.3.The rhythmicity of the solar terms of RA admission was found that the Peak in all cases was Grain Full(on May24),mainly occurred in spring.4.The rhythmicity of the solar terms of RA onset was found that the Peak in allcases was Spring Equinox(on March29),mainly occurred in the turn of winter andspring.5.The rhythmicity of the solar terms of RA with different syndromes onset was:thePeak of cold-damp syndrome onset was Insects Awaken(on March11),mainly occurredin winter and spring;the damp-heat syndrome’s was Slight Heat(on July17),mainly in summer;and the phlegm and blood stasis syndrome’s was summersolstice(on July1),mainly in spring and summer;besides,the solar terms ofBlockage of blood stasis syndrome,liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome andkidney qi Deficiency cold syndrome onset did not find peak.Conclusion：1. The major syndrome types of RA are damp-heat syndrome,cold-damp syndrome andphlegm and blood stasis syndrome in Liaoning Province.2. The patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome and liver and kidney Yindeficiency syndrome have longer course.3.The solar terms of RA admission has central tendency,mainly occurs in spring.4.The solar terms of RA onset has central tendency,mainly occurs in the turn ofwinter and spring.5.The solar terms of cold-damp syndrome,damp-heat syndrome and phlegm and bloodstasis syndrome onset has central tendency.Cold-damp syndrome mainly occurs inwinter and spring;Damp-heat syndrome mainly in summer;Phlegm and blood stasissyndrome mainly in spring and summer;Besides,Blockage of blood stasissyndrome,liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome and kidney qi Deficiency coldsyndrome onset haven’t peak period.
