Hyperthyroidism Liver Damage Of TCM Drug Laws

Background：Hyperthyroidism is a syndrome complex caused by too much thyroidhormone which produced by thyroid gland to result in increased excitability andhypermetabolism of nervous, circulatory, digestive and other systems.Hyper-thyroidism accompanied by liver impairment is defined as signs of abnormal liverfunction, hepatomegaly,or even jaundice, cirrhosis that are involved by liver.The incidence of hyperthyroidism with liver damage has a complex, multifactorialcharacteristics and the etiology and pathogenesis of it has not yet been fullyelucidated.In recent years,with the rapid development of Chinese medicine,thestudy on hyperthyroidism accompanied by liver impairment has been developedgreatly showed distinct advantages on its treatment by TCM.Through understandingthe ancient medical theories and digging into and summarizing the experienceof veteran physicians,many doctors explore the incidence and law of preventionand treatment of hyperthyroidism accompanied by liver impairment to improvetheir level in diagnosis and treatment.Objective: To study the literatures with obvious curative effect to explore thelaw of diagnosis and treatment of hyperthyroidism with liver damage in termsof its principles,methods,formulas and medicinals,to provide methods for futurediagnosis and treatment of the disease.Material and method：To collect,collate,analyze,induce the literatures with thetheme of hyperthyroidism accompanied by liver impairment into the study and carryout the descriptive analysis of its principles,methods,formulas andmedicinals.Summarize and analyse the formulas used in the literatures and adoptthe frequency analysis and other statistical methods to probe into the medicinalsof a higher frequency and discuss the law of disease identification andtreatment.Results：1.Of the351retrieved literatures,a total of eight literatures wereincluded in the study with38kinds of drugs and85of delivery times.Themedicinals that more commonly used in the treatment were heat-clearing medicinals,tonifying medicinals,damp-draining diuretic,blood-activating andstasis-resolving medicinals, liver-pacifying and wind-extinguishingmedicinals.There are8drugs with the frequency of equal to or more than4times.2.Statistical analysis summarized the core drugs in formulas of the researchliterature:Debark Peony Root,Common Selfheal Fruit-Spike,Chinese MagnoliavineFruit,Hypercum japonicum,Chinese Thorowax Root,Cape Jasmine Fruit,SalviaRoot,Unprocessed Rhemannia Root.Conclusion：1.In the treatment of hyperthyroidism accompanied by liverimpairment,methods of clearing heat and promoting function of gallbladder andtonifying deficiency play an important role.2.The catogory of single medicinalis differnt from its effect used in the formula,and the treatment is differntbetween goiter and hyperthyroidism with liver impairment.All the medicinals witha higher frequency has hepatoprotective effect by means of ancient and modernpharmacological research and are the therapeutic drugs for the treatment ofhyperthyroidism with liver damage.
