People eat grain and it is hard to avoid sick. The social medical service is closely related to human life, this is not only an individual behavior, but also group activities of the whole society. In this paper, the officials in the Tang Dynasty medical as the research object, systematically describes the official disease of main diseases, to analyze its social medical officials in the Tang Dynasty in order to understand diseases and health care and some of the characteristics of the tang dynasty.In this paper, the disease of officials in the Tang Dynasty are quantified in the form of tables. We can come to the conclusion that fatal diseases include wind disease, infectious diseases, ulcers and daily diseases include cold, eye disease, etc. Then we sum up that the pathogenic factors of officials in the Tang Dynasty include seven emotions(七情),liu yin(六淫),eating disorders, environmental conditions and many other aspects.When the officials in the Tang Dynasty fall ill, they relied mainly on drugs and religious witchcraft to treat diseases. Specifically, Tang Government set Taiyishu(太医署)to cure the officials. Under special circumstances, the emperor sent the medicine to treat the diseases of officials. According to the financial status, some officials will visit famous doctors and look for other effective drug treatment. Friends often gave drugs to each other, which was one of the officials’ medical activities. Witchcraft and Medicine were paralleled in the Tang Dynasty. Buddhism, Taoism and witchcraft prevailed as well. Using religion and witchcraft was one of the ways to cure the disease.
