[Objective]Discussion of kunming area healthy adults of different age and different sex QUS parameters change.[Methods]First affiliated hospital of kunming medical university medical869healthy adults age of22-89lines of calcaneal QUS detection, measurement of calcaneal sound velocity values (SOS), ultrasonic attenuation (BUA) and the intensity index (SI), the male and female groups, respectively, a set of10years old, older than80merger, a group of men and women all seven groups. Comparison of SOS, BUA and SI change along with the age and different gender differences.[Results]Male SOS peak appeared in40~49years old group, women appear in the20to29age group, were1609.50+/-13.44m/s,1588.33+/-27.59m/s, with the increase of age gradually decline, the men in the60years of age group, female group at the age of50~age groups,60~markedly reduced, statistically significant difference (P <0.05), compared with between age groups, the male were greater than women, but only50~age groups, at the age of60~,70~age group differences statistically significant (P<0.05). Men and women both BUA peak appeared in the group of20, were121.00+/-1.41dB/MHz,117.67+/-11.29dB/MHz, as the growth of the age, women over50years old group, the men in the80-year-old group decreased obviously, the difference has statistical significance (P>0.05). Compared to age groups, the male were greater than women, but only50~age groups, at the age of60~,~70age group differences statistically significant (P<0.05). Both male and female SI peak appeared in the20-age group, were98.27+/-14.23%,99.63+/-18.78%, decline with increasing age, the male group, female at the age of60~50 years old group, the group aged60~differences statistically significant (P<0.05), compared to age groups, men than women, aged50~age groups, at the age of60~,70~,80~age group differences statistically significant (P<0.05).[Conclusion]SOS, SI decreases with age growth, men are higher than women.50~age groups is more obvious, BUA as before~70group no significant age differences,80-year old is decreased obviously. [Objective]Discusses and studies the quantitative ultrasound (QUS) and dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA).[Methods]The first affiliated hospital of kunming medical university medical kunming146(40-146years old, median64years old, the age of40or more women’s by age group, with a group of10years old, a total of5groups, line detecting QUS and DXA, analysis of SI and the correlation of BMD.[Results]As we age, BMD and SI gradually decline, the difference is statistically significant, P<0.05, each place BMD with SI Pearson correlation (P<0.05, we can see both positively correlated, the relationship between total hip and SI is highest, r=0.56, shows both moderate correlation. Measured by DXA T value and QUS T value can be measured respectively on the OP detection rate comparison, the OP detection rate of23%,19%respectively, bone loss detection rates were43%,41%, bone mass normal detection rate was34%,40%, respectively. Do both rank and inspection, P>0.05, there was no statistically significant difference.[Conclusion]BMD has certain correlation with SI, in the case of DXA conditions don’t allow, can consider to use QUS agent DXA as a diagnostic method of OP. [Objective]Explore Asian self assessment tool (OSTA) screening for osteoporosis in kunming of yunnan province perimenopausal and postmenopausal women osteoporosis risk value.[Methods]Selection of the first affiliated hospital of kunming medical university medical examination of869healthy adults in kunming, including male190aged27-86, median69years,679women aged23~89, median62years old, OSTA index calculation, according to the BMD reference database, risk is divided into three grades, of whom14640to89-year-old woman QUS and DXA testing, and analysis the correlation of OSTA and BMD and SI.[Results]1. You can see in the same age male OSTA value are higher than women, P<0.05, the difference is statistically significant;2. OSTA index and QUS measured SI were positively correlated, r=0.41, the two are related.3. OSTA do correlation analysis index and BMD, and L1-4, femoral neck, trochanter, total hip r value are:0.36,0.43,0.47,0.43, you can see were positively correlated.[Conclusion]OSTA index respectively with SI, BMD exists a certain correlation; The equipment under the condition of lack, O0STA index can be used as a simple OP screening tool.
