The safe and stable operation of substation has important significance tothe entire power system, use the substation integrated automation technology toimprove the overall performance is necessary. Substation integrated automationis to use advanced communications technology and modern control technologyand information processing technology to realize the measurement, protection,communication, control and monitoring functions of substation, to ensure thequality of electric energy, improve safety, reliability and operation managementof substation automation level. This article take Tuan bai35kV substation as theresearch object, design the integrated automation system, then analysis andresearch the ferromagnetic resonance phenomenon in the substation operationprocess, the main work is as follows:Firstly, analyze the development situation and development trend at homeand abroad of substation integrated automation system, research the mainfunction and structure of the integrated substation automation system, focus onthe research of the current widely used hierarchical and distributed structure.Secondly, according to the actual needs of group of35kV substation,determine the design principle and main technical indicators system, design thestructure of the substation integrated automation system, selection of themicrocomputer protection and functional configuration, AC/DC system,monitoring system and microcomputer system. According to the actual operationsituation, the system performance meet the design requirements.Finally, in view of Tuan bai35kV substation ferromagnetic resonanceproblems, study its mechanism and excitation conditions, analyze and compareseveral commonly used restrain ferroresonance, points out its limitations. Thenuse ATP Draw software to establish Tuan bai35kV substation simulation model,simulation the4PT and PT neutral nonlinear resistance for the calculation of thetwo methods of harmonic elimination, the results show that using4PT caneliminate harmonic, but PT delta winding produces circulation is easily burn PT,to use this method exist hidden dangers; Using PT neutral nonlinear resistance to eliminate the harmonic, it’s limited by PT neutral point insulation level and itsheat capacity, if long-term over-voltage exists, it’s unable to restrainferroresonance. Based on this, the paper put forward two kinds of improvementmeasures, the final simulation results show that PT primary side connect thedamping resistor and combining the use of computer harmonic regulation deviceferroresonance inhibition effect is the best way to eliminate harmonic.
