Jinan City Landscape Quarry Update The Design Study

With the development, construction and expansion of the city, the demand for stone and quarries increases, after years of mining, stone resource depletion, quarrying waste land also increases. Quarrying process and abandoned quarry will undoubtedly have tremendous impact on the environment, and this requires to reuse and update the abandoned quarries. How to make full use of the site characterization and in conjunction with urban demand,need for innovation, looking for new ideas to transform abandoned quarry in the principles of sustainable development, become an urgent practical issue.As Jinan mountainous, stone abundant and high quality, so the phenomenon of long-term"communities depend", which can result in more abandoned quarries, seriously harmd and city appearance affected. This article select Jinan quarries as the analysis emphasis and the Jinan Woniushan quarry landscape update as the design focus, because of its strong representative significance and providing some reference value for other abandoned quarry landscape update.In this paper, the first two parts mainly in a lot of access to relevant information, to provide basis for the commencement of papers. The first part elaborates the research of background, purpose, significance, content, method and framework. The second part elaborates the concept, types, causes, characteristics of the quarry, the design theory and examples of abandoned quarry landscape update.The third part of the paper by investigation and research summarizes Jinan quarry profiles and restoration status, analysis successful management. Also management ideas of the Abandoned Quarry landscape update by summarizes the protection mechanism, planning in advance awareness,typical pattern, management principles.The fourth part of the paper update Woniushan quarry landscape by environmental restoration (manage) and landscape reconstruction, hope for providing some theoretical and practical basis for other abandoned quarry landscape reconstruction of our country. The part of environmental restoration (manage) analyse the quarry slope, cliff, quarries, yard, stoning, platform and made management programmes by use of landscape design ideas. The part of landscape reconstruction make Woniushan quarry become a country park by re-planning with the ideas of venue and culture texture, behavior, psychological, functional requirements and concept of "The power of life-Woniushan rehabilitation road".Finally, paper summarizes the results and make recommendations.
