With rapid economic development and growing demand of creativity, traditional ChineseNian products can no more satisfy modern people’s mental and physical requirements. Thedesign of Chinese Nian product brand is very important to the development of Chinese Nianproducts.The article analyzes the definition and situation of Chinese Nian and related products,describes the brand design and establishment in details, which can bring an intangible assets fordesigners and marketers. Different from traditional designs of Nian, the brand is unique andindividual in many aspects as packing, marks, meanings and symbols, which re-establishes andre-evaluates Nian culture’s intrinsic carrier. The design of Chinese Nian Brand stands for thespirit and core value of Chinese Nian culture, improving Nian culture’s popularity and reputation.During the process of Chinese Nian culture’s designing, we should keep the culture be on theright way, and also endow it with characteristics and public awareness. It is a new challenge tous.The article discusses design methods and growing trend of Chinese Nian brands, deeplyanalyzes digital attempts of the brands under the creative industry. It also fully concludes on howto popularize Chinese Nian brands as global brands in effective ways. The author’s graduationproject, with the theme of Chinese Nian Culture Brand, is also designed based on the research.
