Research On Chinese Lucky Culture In Traditional Architecture And The Application In Modern Environmental Design Of Art

Chinese traditional architecture, as a carrier of Chinese culture, is to reflect the courtesy priorities and social orders of a patriarchal clan system in China, and as well as the longing and pursuits of it's people's dreams, which leads to a richness of lucky culture in Chinese traditional architecture. With a flood of construction in both urban and rural areas of China and the return of traditional culture, it is crucial to explore the lucky culture in Chinese traditional architecture and summarize the application expressions of the lucky culture in traditional architecture for the creation of modern environment of art with flavor of Chinese culture and the improvement of cultural elements in modern environmental design of art.This thesis chooses lucky culture of traditional architectures in Guanzhong area and huizhou region as its subjects to analyze the application of lucky culture in modern environmental design of art from three aspects:Firstly, the thesis expatiates the concept and connotation of lucky culture from the historical point of view, thoroughly analyzes and makes a conclusion of the concrete manifestation of lucky culture in Chinese traditional architecture from the choice of construction site, creation of the environment, layout of the buildings to constructional elements, colors, interior furnishing and decoration of the architecture. The thesis also applies the theories of semeiology to analyze mothod of implied meaning of the lucky graphics.Secondly, as an increasing concern on modern environment, the thesis proposes a new design concept, and points out that the environmental design of art should pay attention to ecological ideas and should advocate humanity intentions.Thirdly, a current tendency in environmental design of art is that the inheriting of the traditional cultural heritage shows the problems of repeated copying, playing with form and chasing the superficial. The thesis puts forward a new perspective of lucky culture in the applications of modern environmental design of art: auspicious graphics import--- shape reconstruction; auspicious thoughts integration---God carry forward; auspicious modern environment updating--- harmony creation, and as well as offers plenty of examples to inherit and popularize the lucky culture in new life and new concepts of modern design.The thesis on the analyses of lucky culture in traditional architecture is to offer a theoretical basis for research to inheriting and development of Chinese traditional lucky culture and to find out a favorable cultural context for modern environmental design of art, thereby enriching art design language to enhance the cultural qualities.
