With the development of the modern military technology, how to maximum optimize the firepower and improve the efficiency of battlefield resource use become a research focus, these require assess target’s damage effectiveness accurately and timely. In a large number of battlefield targets, the underground bunker is the main target used for protection and the most difficult to be destroyed. In view of this, in this paper, the research influence essential factors of the typical underground bunker’s damage effectiveness from the earth penetrator’s penetration and explosion is carried out. With the development of computer technology, the numerical simulation method instead of end-point trajectory experiment to research the process of the earth penetrator’s penetration and explosion become reality. Therefore, in this paper, use LS-DYNA and AUTODYN as the research means, to research influence essential factors of the typical underground bunker’s damage effectiveness from the earth penetrator’s penetration and explosion. The main work in the paper is as following:1) Construct equivalent models of the earth penetrator and the typical underground bunker; the calculation method of the typical underground bunker’s damage effectiveness is determined.2) Analyze influence essential factors of the typical underground bunker’s damage effectiveness from the earth penetrator’s penetration and explosion, get results that the higher the hit velocity, the stronger the damage effectiveness; the larger the charge weight, the stronger the damage effectiveness; the larger the hit angle, the weaker the damage effectiveness; the more off-center the hit position, the weaker the damage effectiveness, etc. And analyze the reason of these factors affect the damage effectiveness.3) Construct Bayes network model of the typical underground bunker’s damage effectiveness from the earth penetrator’s penetration and explosion, to calculate the typical underground bunker’s damage effectiveness from the earth penetrator’s penetration and explosion with parameters of influence essential factors are not fixed.
