It is important strategic significance in destroying the enemy's command structures during wars.In operations,it is necessary to evaluate the damage capability of ammunition to buildings to formulate a fire strike plan.The damage assessment of missile to buildings involves penetration mechanics,explosive mechanics,structural dynamics,target vulnerability assessment and other related content that are highly professional and time-consuming.Therefore,it is extremely urgent to develop a fast and accurate damage assessment method.From the perspectives of penetration process of the missile,forecasting of explosion load in building components,dynamic response and damage assessment of building component,and the damage assessment of the overall building,the study on damage assessment method of missile to ground buildings was systematically carried out in this paper.Firstly,based on dynamic cavity expansion theory,the calculation model of the residual velocity of missile and time that missile spent in penetrating the reinforced concrete component was established,combining the delay time of the missile fuse,the method of calculating the explosive point of the missile inside the building was conducted.Then the damage assessment method of components was proposed by using the equivalent single degree of freedom model and pressure impulse damage curve.For the close explosion,the way of equaling the non-uniform load to uniform load was put forward in this paper,and based on the law of conservation of energy,the strength attenuation calculation model of shock wave after destroying the building component was established.Next,for the building damaged by the warhead,the subsequent damage calculation method of the residual frame under gravity load was proposed through the plane frame model and the layer analysis method,and the calculation model for the overall building damage degree was carried out,then the damage matrix of the missile to the building was established by gridding the damage calculation area of the missile,and the meaning area of effectiveness for buildings was also proposed.Finally,based on the damage matrix,a damage function corresponding to the meaning area of effectiveness for buildings was established,combined with the guiding precision of the missile,the calculation model for the damage expectation of the building under missile attack was put forward,and the complete damage assessment method of buildings under air-to-ground missile attack was constructed.A building damage assessment simulation procedure was compiled based on the method above,and a building and missile model were constructed,the damage matrix of the missile to building with different attack conditions and the corresponding meaning area of effectiveness for buildings was calculated,and also the damage expectation of the building.The calculation results show for the damage expectation of the missile to the building,the projected area of the building in the attack direction of the missile has a greater influence,while the missile terminal velocity has a less influence.At the same ammunition terminal velocity,the greater the projection area,the bigger the damage expectation;while at the same attack direction,the damage expectation of the building may get smaller with the increase of the speed of the missile.
