Hydroelectric turbine is one of the key equipment. And when hydroelectricoperating conditions deviate from or away from design conditions, the turbine willrun in an unstable region, producing flow separation and eddy current, causinghydraulic vibration, resulting in the runner blade crack, tear tail pipe, and even leadto the unit, plant resonance, endangering power plant safe operation. Theoreticalanalysis and operation proved that the turbine is running outside the region,especially in the high head, low flow, small opening run, the unit serious stabilityproblems. However, the province and the country’s hydropower development anddesign, usually the turbine group selection and parameter determination, the lack ofanalysis of the operational characteristics of the turbine, rarely consider departurefrom power plant unit operation stability of the head and other related parametersettings.This thesis on Suifenhe River hydrological data and analyzed based on the use oftraditional design concepts to determine Dongsheng hydropower turbine unit modeland related parameters; On this basis, through the establishment of mathematicalmodels and draw turbine turbine operating characteristic curve of Dongshenghydropower turbine units optimal range of operating conditions and stable operationregion, and then analyzes the stability of plant operation factors on plant designspecifications and operational impact of electricity generation, so as to promote thestability of unit operation designed to consider ideas for the design and selection ofhydropower units provide safe and stable operation recommendations andreferences..
