| In recent years, global energy structure has seen dramatic changes due to incessant adjustment of global energy market, meanwhile in our country the contradictions between energy supply and demand, energy utilization and environment protection are exacerbating increasingly, so clean energy represented by wind energy plays an increasingly important strategic role in aspects of economic and society development and safe energy supply. As the main form of exploiting wind energy, hydroelectric generation holds an advantageous status in our country’s non-fossil clean energy exploitation due to its environment-friendly property,economic advantage, flexible operation and mature technology and so on. The present mid-small sized hydropower stations often have problems of improper design due to limitations of investment and technology at that time, which may cause low operation efficiency after running for a long time, especially the ones built before 90s’, which are aged and it is hard to purchase their components, accidents occur from time to time and affect the safe operation of hydropower stations. As for some reservoir hydropower stations, with the reinforcement for danger removing, the water storage level are all increased and water regime also changes accordingly. So, it is necessary for this type of reservoir hydropower station to take some technical retrofitting.This article summarized actual operation status quo of mid-small sized hydropower stations in our country and taking Luhun reservoir hydropower stations as an example, studied the retrofitting scheme of efficiency improvement and volume expansion for mid-small sized hydropower stations. The main study contents and outcomes are as follows:(1) After conducting hydro energy recheck based on related hydro energy calculation data of many years about Luhun reservoir hydropower stations, this article reaches a conclusion that the whole installed capacity of hydropower stations can’t utilize hydro energy resources fully due to improper installation configuration, which can cause waste of water resources. Meanwhile the reasonable volume expansion plan for hydropower stations is put forward based on actual analysis and comparison,which will promote proper use of hydro energy resource and ensure full benefit exploitation and steady operation of the hydropower stations.(2) Aiming at the actual conditions of the hydropower stations, the article confirmed installed capacity, conducted water head analysis and selection, calculation,analysis about hydro turbines of different generation sets and further confirmed type-selecting scheme. The adaptability analysis and calculation of the selected scheme were conducted to ensure the operation stability of the hydro turbine generation sets. Further this article also put forward the retrofitting scheme for the auxiliary equipment and computer monitoring system.(3) The efficiency improvement and volume expansion retrofitting project for Luhun reservoir hydropower stations has good financial indexes and national economical evaluation for the perspective of economic profit. As for environmental benefit, it can effectively reduce emission of smoke dust, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and provide positive effects on improving ecological environment of the rivers. So the project implementation is very necessary. |
