Quality Of Urbanization In Jiangsu Province

Urbanization is an important symbol of social progress of a country or region. Accompanied by the advance of the urbanization process in China, the existing problems in the process of urbanization is becoming increasingly prominent.2012, the Party’s18pointed out that "put ecological civilization construction in a prominent position, and strive to build a beautiful China" It gives us new demands of urbanization. Conform to the requirements of this new development, we must change the traditional heavy speed, light-weight patterns of urban development, and put ecological construction civilization into the development of urbanization process, and enhance the overall quality of China’s urbanization.Methods of the paper are as follows:First, summarize the research on the quality of urbanization at home and abroad, and build quality evaluation index system of urbanization, then using AHP strike the index weight and get the urbanization quality evaluation results of Jiangsu; Second, based on the results of the evaluation gives the provincial domain and the lateral correlation analysis, and find out the quality of urbanization and existing problems of Jiangsu; Finally, it gives some strategy to enhance the quality of urbanization of Jiangsu Province.Conclusions of the paper are as follows:(l)The urbanization quality of Jiangsu Province shows significant regional differences, mainly for the north-south gradient difference. The main cause of this difference is economic regional differences and social development quality, especially the quality of economic development regional differences, the root causes of the quality of spatial pattern of urbanization.(2)For the sub-dimensions analysis,we can find that the level of urbanization quality score of each subsystem level of urbanization quality overall level is not a one-to-one correspondence. Overall, the economic and social development in areas other subsystems quality is relatively high.(3) Judging from the horizontal contrast, the urbanization quality of eastern region of China presents heavy regional differences, Jiangsu Province ranked second, slightly lower than that of Zhejiang,, the quality of social development subsystem of Jiangsu Province at a low level, and the remaining three subsystems are in a high level,so, improve the quality of social development is the key to enhance the overall quality of urbanization in Jiangsu Province.(4) For the view of urbanization sustainable development,socio-economic and ecological environment is a pair of balanced contradiction between the unity of opposites. We can not be divorced from economic development to talk about the protection of the ecological environment, but the latter should be unified to the process of urbanization. The construction of ecological civilization is in the spatial domain to achieve economic, social and environmental development, economic, in the time domain to achieve social and environmental sustainability,and make sure the civilization and the ecological cycle derivative. At the same time, we need extends the concept of harmony to the urbanization quality to ensure the coordinated development of each subsystem of urbanazaiton and build "four in one" urbanization.
