Frame structures are being built increasingly because that they are easy toseparated, light weight and saving materials etc. In recent years, earthquake disastersare many and heavy, people raise more higher request level about seismicperformances of the high-rise frame structure, the precision and stability problems ofthe calculation are highlighted, usually we can choose the appropriate model andcalculation method to approximately solve the problems.In this paper, the precisetime history integration method and several other integration methods were used toanalysis the examples, showing the advantages of precise time history integrationmethod, combining with the fiber model and compiling Fortran program. the seismicresponses of one two-storied frame structure were simulated with the ANSYSsoftware which verify the correctness of the program.Elastic-plastic time historyanalysis on a ten-storied frame structure under various seismic excitations has donebased on the program. The seismic responses of the structure are studied ondifferent loading ways and different ratios. The changes are analyzed of the structureof drift angle, top displacement, base shear, plastic hinge, and etc. under variousseismic excitations. The analysis results show that setting dampers in the structurecould diminish the seismic response of the structure effectively, high-rise RC framestructure could satisfy the goal of seismic resistance design requirement-“no damagefor small earthquake, repair for medium earthquake, and no collapse for largeearthquake”. The fifth story is the weak story of the structure which should be paidattention to in the actual operation and could be set a strengthen layer. At the sametime, the statistical data show that the program is better than ANSYS software abouttime and calculation efficiency and it meets the needs of practical engineering incalculation precision and stability that can play a role in high-rise frame structureelastic-plastic analysis.
