On The Use Of Modern Clothing Creative Design Terracotta Warrior Armor Art Clothing Apparel

Armor is used on the battlefield with a history of thousands of years which isspecial clothing types of protective effect. With the social changes, changes in warmode and the development of production technology, modeling and function of armorhave developed constantly. The evolution of dynasties make armor have distinctcharacteristics of the times and artistic features. Now a study of ancient Chinesearmor is not only related to the archeology, the relics, the military history but alsoaffects the idea of modern fashion design. However, today’s society for the study ofancient Chinese armor has not been a widespread concern，this article through theinvestigation of style, color and artistic elements of ancient Chinese armor，discoversand excavates superb creativity and rich imagination of ancient Chinese people in thearts, showing the artistic charm of Chinese ancient armor clothing. With the beginningof armor’s artistic research of the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses in Mausoleum ofthe First Qin Emperor in Xi’an, Shanxi province, this research investigates theshape, color and pattern of terracotta warriors armor, combings and summarizesartistic characteristics of terracotta warriors armor, and discusses the historical,cultural and artistic value of terracotta warriors armor combining with therelevant historical material. This article summarizes the shape, color and pattern ofterracotta warrior armor, according to the concept of modern fashion design, discusseshow it is applied to modern fashion design using the method of exampledemonstration, to explore the Ideas of application and to the artistic value and heritagesignificance of terracotta warrior armor art in modern fashion design. The heritagesignificance of terracotta warrior armor is researched in the exploration, and theartistic value and potential application value in modern fashion design is excavatedcontinuously.
