The test study on oil-film bearing is an important means to improve oil-filmbearing lubrication theory and develop new process and product. Large-scaleoil-film bearing test rig, operating under the support of the National YouthScience Fund Project(51205269), the Shanxi Provincial Natural ScienceFoundation (2012011018-2) and Shanxi Provincial Scholarship Council(2013-093), made up for the deficiency of test equipment of oil-film bearing thatcan simulate real working conditions under high speed and heavy load. Oil-filmbearing test rig consists of mechanical system, lubrication system, electricalsystem, hydraulic loading system and pneumatic control system. The oil-filmbearing test rig is perfect and has strong stability. It plays a positive role in thedevelopment of oil-film bearing on national heavy equipment.In order to meet the requirements of oil-film bearing test research under thenew situation, this paper aims at improving the performance of the test rig. Tomake it come true, the following contents should be accomplished: the controlmethod of the system is optimized, the mechanical system and equipment isdesigned and machined, oil-film parapmters measuring system is developed andsensors are calibrated. A test plan is oil-film bearing made, the factors thatinfluence oil-film temperature are analyzed and the overall performance of thetest rig is estimated. The main content of this thesis is as follows:Firstly, the control system of the test rig is optimized. Chain automaticcontrol is programed, closed-loop load control and intelligent control of inlet oiltemperature are carried out. The control method of DC motor is optimized andthe remote monitoring system of the test rig with PLC is designed.Secondly, the mechanical system of the test rig is designed. New bearingsare designed and machined and the layout of sensors on the test bearing isdetermined to measure the temperature, pressure and thickness of oil film. Speedof mainshaft is an important parometer of the test rig. DC motor and couplingthat meet test requirements are selected on the base of the calculation and analysis of load characteristics. It makes the mechanical system work morestablely and enlarges the test field of the test rig.Thirdly, the oil-film parameters test system is developed. The parameters ofoil film can be monitored and collected dynamically.Fourthly, the test plan is made on the base of calculation and the workingperformance of oil-film bearing is analyzed through data processing. The weightof the factors that influence oil-film temperature is calculated, and theoptimization result of the test rig is also verified.After the optimization, the maneuverability of oil-film bearing test rig isenhanced, control precision is improved as well as stability, and its test field isenlarged. The oil-film parameters test system works well and has reached theexpected research target. It’s of great significance in the promotion of theoil-film bearing test research.
