"Chaplin" Revelation Screen Image Of Menswear Design

Individuals still indulge in his outstanding comedy shows. In people’s minds, Chaplin always wins a large number of audiences’ applause and laughter with a dome hat, big shoes and fat pants. He marches penguin steps and acts in a humorous way in the screen. But it is precisely the spotlight covers the loneliness and desolation in his life. In the paper, we hope to combine the background of the times to analyze the characters of Chaplin by time, space, environment, society, psychology, actions, dress and other aspects. Then, we can conclude the design inspiration and analyze and use the specific elements of times to design men’s clothing in a creative and ancient way. By the analysis and interpretation of the classic image, we can determine the connection of the cultural elements, the feature of modeling and the design styles of the design of men’s clothing. Then we can combine the background of times, the cultural features and the popular features perfectly. Meanwhile, we can make use of the unique "symbolic" image performance works. Finally, it reaches the meaningful combination of the modern clothing culture. Then, it shines in the new era and can be used for reference of the classic images of clothing which is referred in different stages and the application of modern clothing design.
