| China is a country with long history, the different lifestyles of the different nation cultivated their own enlture which had given birth to the distinctive national dresses, However, most nation dress styles have complex shapes, numerous decorations, these highly decorative and aesthetic styles can’t keep pace with our simple and efficient modern life and lack the popularity due to the psychological needs of the public seeking for the similarity. Viewed from a different angle, their rich and brilliant colors, unique-style models, meaningful and far-reaching dress patterns, exquisite weaving modes, embroidery, dyeing and other techniques provide the major source of the inspiration designers’asset which can help them stand in the frontier of world fashion design in the era of the modern globalization. Only relying on the Chinese national dresses, can the Chinese fashion highlight the unique style and national character of China; only combining with the spirit of the modern fashion, can the national dresses gain better inheritance and development in the rever of new era.Diversified development in the 21st century is the fashion trend, so does that of the design of men’s ware. The development of men’s ware is characterized by an internationalized, ready-made and nationalistic style trend. And the rise of the Chinese-style men’s ware-one of the multi-cultural diversions, is another means of communication and integration of the eastern and western fashion cultures. The present thesis introduces the main features of the modern Chinese-stule men’s ware, which embody in simplicity, human nature and distinctive personality, based on some comparisons and the analysis on the styles of the modern Chinese-style men’s ware. The design elements of modern Chinese-style men’s ware are also presented in this paper, which are detailed in the following seceral major perspectives:expanding the multivariate style of the modern Chinese-style man’s wear, improving the innovative designing of the fabrics, dermatoglyphic pattern and the ornaments for the Chinese-style man’s wear;and the innovative designing for the furnishing parts fitting for the Chinese-style man’s wear. |
