Game player has a different interactive mode from the traditional one, which makes high-tech interaction be the new design requirements after safety, entertainment, edutainment.The toy itself is a product of literature and art value. Toy has cultural and artistic value as "zoetic" and "intelligential", and it is the inheritance of beauty. After the injection of human-computer interaction concept of high-tech, toys are endowed with the meaning of "life". It is no longer a running machine or a object lack of communication withe the player, but a friend of the player.Human-computer interaction design is one of the most popular theory of Design Science in recent years, including design and psychology. Human-computer interaction focus on the user’s experience and emotion. Robot toy design of human-computer interaction will take "people-oriented" as the principle of design. It not only mainly focuses on child and adolescent game players’requirements, at the same time, also pays close attention to parents’needs, which realizes the aim of security, entertainment, interactive education. As one robot toy, it is designed to "attract game player and to please their parents".LEGO robot toy has different characteristics from the traditional toys. Firstly, the basic structure is simpler, so it is easy to learn. Secondly, there is a lot of room for the players to realize their originality. Players can directly see the achievements, which elevate player’s sense of achievement. In the process of experiencing the robot toy, players reciecve physiological and mental pleasure. The friendly man-machine interface design furtherly extend the enjoyment of this experience.With the development of high technology, human-computer interaction technology will play a very important role in the development and innovation of toy design. Development of robot toy is a microcosm of the development of culture, science and human society.This thesis introduces the psychological and physiological characteristics of game players in different ages, especially children and teenagers. At the same time, this thesis analyze the cognitive characteristics of game players and the psychological state in the process of human-computer interaction.Most of the world’s popular toy robots are designed by Europens, Americans, Japanese and Koreans. They introduced various types of robot toys. Marketing at plays from different ages, their products meet the different preferences of different comsumers. At present, robot toys designed by Chinese are in the initial stage of development. There are some problems, such as:unclear classification, too much commercial design, rigid man-machine interface. A lot of robot toy products are copied from foreign design, which are lack of their own native creativity and personality.This thesis, based on the theory of human-computer interaction, taking the characteristics of LEGO robot toys as reference, discusses the attraction of appearance, functions and man-machine interface to players, and gives some suggestions for improving the shortage of Chinese robot toy design. |
