Polyacrylamide and its derivatives are a kind of important water-solublepolymer, it has very broad application prospects and can be used as a flocculatingagent, viscosifier, gels, etc. In order to improve the deposition quantity of pesticidesin plant leaf and weeding control effect, we need to add tackifier in pesticideformulation. So, modification of polyacrylamide can be served as a viscosifier inpesticide suspension formulation.The work of this paper:1)By means of different anionic polyacrylamidemodification, we introduced hydrophilic carboxylic acid sodium, sodium sulfonate,sodium phosphate groups, the three kinds of tackifier were characterized by using IR,XPS and element analysis.2) This paper study with the tackifier’s salt resistance, pHadaptability, solubility and changes in rheological behavior before and after themodification.3) We add tackifier to pesticides in the suspending agent, research thedeposit amount and the influence of weed control efficacy of chloroquine Lin acidwhich containing viscosifier in cucumber leaf surface.Experimental results show thatthe modified sodium containing carboxylic acid groups of tackifier with the highestviscosity, to ions in aqueous solution, the concentration of3.0g/dL, increased by74.4%compared with polyacrylamide viscosity; Containing sulfonic acid sodium andsodium phosphate groups of tackifier dramatically improve solubility, pH adaptabilityrange becomes wider at the same time, Between pH3~12,both viscosity drop lessthan10%; shear rheological experiment showed that under the same shear rate,Compared with the polyacrylamide,modified containing anion groups of tackifier canobtain high shear viscosity; prepared the same concentration of chloroquine Lin acidsolution, adding tackifier with0.5%concentration of solution spray on cucumberleaves,the study showed the amount of deposit in cucumber leaf surface wasincreased, containing sulfonate group of tackifier technical precipitation amount hasincreased25%; we prepared1000parts per million and800ppm of chloroquine Linacid solution,the control efficacy of weed and digitaria experiments show thattackifier adding into the solution can achieve the purpose of drugs administered, the same two chloroquine Lin acid solution applying pesticide concentration,the weedingcontrol efficacy of the solution which containing0.5%of tackifier was increased by20%.The innovation of this paper lies in:(1) The three common anion hydrophilic functional groups wereintroduced into the modified polyacrylamide molecular, we get the three kinds ofmodified anionic tackifier, then study the apparent viscosity, pH adaptability, saltresistance, shearing rheological behaviour and solubility of the change.(2)We applied modification of tackifier to pesticide suspension, the studycompared the tackifier adding affects the quantity of pesticides in plant foliardeposition; at the same time,we measured the solution that adding a tackifier onwhether can maintaining potency.(3)We used high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method ofquantitative determination of pesticides in plant foliage of precipitation amount, andit was proved that the result was reliable by the optical microscope.
