Starting from the economic prosperity of the United States after World War II, the social problems caused by the economic boom and the resulting emergence of the hippie counter-culture movement. Treated Steve Jobs as an example of The intersection of rational and irrational, the integration of science and art, Complementarity between East and West.Hippie counterculture movement ideology rooted in such thinkings cf Brown, Leary, Marcuse, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and some other scholars. Hippies get rid of the mainstream culture through sexual repression, psychedelic, rock, Zen Buddhism, computers and other means to explore the pursuit of themseves. Hippy highlight the spirit self-reflection, self-criticism, self-denial precious spirit, this self-denial is in fact pointing to the new self-affirmation. Hippies not only against the life of addicting to substances and despise spiritual life, the life of advocating technological rationality but repressed personality self reactionary, and more, they learn from Indian Buddhism, Chinese Taoism. That hippie counter-culture has its destructive side, but it is more constructive.hippy movement is fundamentally a philosophical problem from the eternal permanence—how should a man live his own life.Steve Jobs was born and raised in the Silicon Valley which is the heart of american high-tech. vegetarianism and Zen Buddhism, meditation and computer, psychedelic and rock music, these are rolled into one crazyly by Jobs. Jobs’s college career was ended by six months study at Reed College, Jobs drop out, ran to India to seek self-enlightenment Back in the U. S, jobs felt the limitations of the Western world’s madness and the limit of rational thinking. Influenced By the technology magazine "Global Overview " and technology magazine Computer Club " Homebrew Club", in1976, Jobs and Wozniak, Ron· Wayne founded Apple Computer, Inc., which started his practice in the field of science and technology of his concept of self-enlightenment through. These concepts including the creation of great products, Cropping arts and humanities spirit into the products, design concept of technology products, the pursuit of the perfect, the concept of continuous innovation, the concept of integration.Paper’s conclusion is that the hippie counter-culture has the same points with the great man’s idea such as Socrates, Buddha, especially the idea of Nietzsche, Nietzsche advocates had an aesthetic artistic life, ethics and aesthetics are Non-ethical, non-scientific. Jobs treat himself as an artist, and he believe that artists all have a strong desire of self-expression, and the computer has become the way people express creativity, a way of self-expression.The significance of jobs’s contemporary research including the complementarity between East and West, irrational, the integration of science and art, the intersection of rational and irrational, the revelation about innovation, the self-searching of our youth, and the future development of technology such as artificial intelligence. For a detailed explanation of the impact of oriental culture to Western culture is reflected in philosophy, economics, ecology, medicine, physics, psychology and other aspects; the intersection of rational and irrational reflects on Einstein, Planck, Jobs. Art, Philosophy, and Science lead to the stimulation of innovation and the inspiration of exploring the universe and the life.
