Abstract/Summary:
Shopping online developed rapidly by its inique advantages. But its shortcomingsappears in the transactions. The obvious performance is the consumers’ right to know isdestroyed in life. In shopping online, the information asymmetry is serious, just likecommodity information is false, the business is not clear whether to provide after-salesservice, and the business provide a false business credit degree. They are caused byvirtual network shopping, and imperceptibility. At the same time, the present protectionis not optimistic, including The lack of legislation,the ineffective judicial relief, weakadministrative supervision. Therefore the consumers’ right to know, online shopping ismore vulnerable to violations.In view of this, the article is around the consumers’right to know, put forwardsubstantive rights and procedural rights, and administration. So the article first introducethe background of shopping online, and the diversification of shopping way, and thenresearch the industry value of consumers’ right to know, including the characteristics ofconsumers’ right to know, and the reasons of why consumers’right was destroyed. Andthen analyse the type of the destroyed consumers’ right to know. Analyse our presentprotection and other countries’ protection, hope we can draw lessons from them. Thenanalyse the procedure protection of it, including build self-discipline norms of networkindustry, enhance the administration, clear and definite their function and power, thenenhance the qualification attestation of the internet business operator.
