The Research On Student Movement Of Chengcheng Middle School Of Taiyuan

In the early30’s of the20thcentury, ChengCheng Middle school in Taiyuan ofShanxi province set up a CPC party organization, being the only one school under theWhite terror of YanXiShan’s government. After the Marco Polo Bridge incident in1937,ChengCheng middle school actively involved in the Sino-Japanese war. After November5,1937, Chengcheng middle school all staff and students joined in the army. The historyof Chengcheng middle school is the one and only event in the Chinese history of theAnti-Japanese War and became a banner during the early days of the youth movementin China.This paper consists of introduction and text. The text is divided into four parts.Firstly, as a historical review, introduced the background and social environment ofthe early twentieth Century of Shanxi province. According to the analysis on the king ofShanxi Yanxishan’s education concept which reflected the historical, ideological andcultural environment of the twentieth Century. This part is the background material onthe relevant facts.The second part mainly based on a large number of historical materials andhistorical documents. Through the analysis on not only the establishment anddevelopment of Chengcheng middle school, but also reflects of the CPC partyorganization,then summarizes the value of student movement of Chengcheng middleschool.The third part is mainly about the characters and the distinguishing feature ofstudent movement of Chengcheng middle school.This part then introduces the history ofthis school after the establishment of China,which reflects the later students ofChengcheng middle school.The TV drama “the flames of Chengcheng middle school”asa tribute to the ninetieth anniversary of the CPC, vividly demonstrates the history and thevalue of Chengcheng middle school student movement.The forth part is the part of the difficulties,shows the historical value ofChengCheng middle school student movement. According to the analysis on the history,pointed the relationship between the student movement and the fate of the country and a correct understanding which people should have to the student movement. Finallysummed up the enlightenment and historical significance of the Chengcheng middleschool student movement.
