With the constant development of the internet, it has become a very importantplatform of exchanging information and sharing knowledge, especially entering into a“everyone has a media,everyone has a microphone” micro-blog era, the rapidity andconvenience of transforming information,has brought opportunities and challenges to thelocal government,as for dealing with the network public opinion.On one hand,the localgovernment can make better use of the micro-blog for learning about the publicopinion,can effectively meet the demands of people pursuing authoritative information;onthe hand,the development of the new media still brought difficulties to the management ofinternet public opinion.Under the new situation,with the number of internet users and the growing publicawareness of rights,it is significant for the local governments to pay more attention to theinternetpublic opinion.Thougn,currenttly,there are mang problems existting in theprocedures of managing the public opinions,something as lacking theawareness,knowledge of it.There is still a further way to go.This article through the case analysis,is to give suggestings advisable by reveallingthe problems existing in the local government when managing with the internet publicopinions.,as concentrating on improving the ability to manage the internet publicopinion,reforming the political and leading system,and so on. Therefor, with theacademic research still immature,this article is targetted to put forward feasiblesuggestings to improve the sense and knowledge on network public opinion.
