The Comparative Research On Urban And Rural Community Governance In China

With twenty years improvement, community governance has got a good positive result. Especially after promulgating the Suggestion of Ministry of Civil Affairs on promoting national urban and rural community governance in2000, November, community governance started a fully activated and community construction and governance had culminated a climax. With the guidance of the Suggestion, many local governments began to develop community governance, and summed up the main points. But with the complicated condition, it has made a tremendous difference between urban community governance and rural community governance. This paper will sum up and study the history of urban and rural community governance and then put forward a new model of community governance with new situation.This paper comprises six chapters. With the instruction, the paper introduced the background and significance of topics, review of the literature and the study methods. With the first chapter, this paper studied the theories of governance of urban and rural community. With the second chapter, this paper studied the comparison of the subject and content between urban community governance and rural community governance. With the third chapter, this paper studied the comparison of urban and rural community governance. With the firth chapter, this paper studied the comparison of approach and efficiency of urban and rural community governance. With the fifth chapter, this paper made a comprehensive summary.
