As is true of Overseas Chinese Population Structure and Chinese community, thecontemporary Chinese Associations has seen significant changes, and so has theNatives Associations or so-called the Geographical Society, one of the important partsof the contemporary Chinese Associations, which affects the society of OverseaChinese and Ancestral home in different levels. Previous studies are limited todiscussions on early Geographical Society and individual emerging organizations withfailure to analyze it as a whole. The writer endeavor to make a more objective andcomprehensive research based the previous studies by collecting large amounts ofdata.Taking changes in contemporary Chinese associations as the research object, andthe Emerging Natives Association of Eastern United States, the most commongeopolitical Associations in the Chinese associations, as example, this article analyzesthe historical evolution of such associations, functional evolution and interaction withthe ancestral relationship, in order to deepen the understanding of the Chinesecommunity. Firstly, starting from the changes of contemporary Chinese associations,it will expound the difference and connection of new associations and traditionalsocieties, explain the reason why it chooses emerging natives association of easternUnited States as example. Secondly, it will describe its recent situation by observingestablishments of emerging natives association in these decades, understanding thepurpose of the organization, structure and financial resources, interpreting generalinformation, and explaining the attitudes of the local government and home country.Finally, the article will discuss main social function of the emerging associations inthis region; study its interaction with the ancestral relationship, sum up the society’sevolution trend and look forward to the prospects of this geopolitical community.
