The Research On The Relationship Among Perfectionism,Achievement Motivation And Job Expectations About College Students

College students’ employment difficulty, has aroused widespread attention from all walks of life.The reasons for college students’ employment difficulty is the interaction of its own factors and external factors.College students can not control college admissions, as well as employment and other external factors, but they can promote employment by adjusting their own factors.This thesis is based on the current situation among perfectionism, achievement motivation, job expectation about college students, and the analysis of the differences of demographic variables, aimed to explore the relationship among perfectionism, achievement motivation and job expectation, test whether achievement motivation play an intermediary role in perfectionism and job expectation.This study mainly uses "Chinese version of the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale","Achievement Motivation Scale" and "employment expectations Scale",to investigate the college students among Hunan Normal University,Central South University and Hunan University.In this study, a total of560questionnaires were returned546questionnaires,475valid questionnaires; data obtained were analyzed using SPSS17.0, and the conclusions are as follows:First, college students’ perfectionism and achievement motivation is in the middle level, employment expectation is in the middle to upper level.Perfectionism differs in gender, school, grade, profession, student nationalities, and singleton or not; achievement motivation differs in school, grade, and singleton or not; employment expectations differs in gender, school, grade and profession.Second, worrying about mistakes, parents expectations, personal standards, the doubts of the action, perfectionism were positively correlated with achievement motivation in all dimensions, organization and the pursuit of success were positively correlated; worrying about mistakes, parents expectations, personal standards, the doubts of the action, perfectionism were positively correlated with job expectation in all dimensions, worrying about mistakes and matching, reputation, job expectations were positively correlated; worrying about mistakes was negatively correlated with treatment, organization was positively correlated with treatment, matching, and job expectations.Third, perfectionism is mainly through the organization, individual standard, worrying about mistakes and the doubts of the action four dimensions to have some influence on achievement motivation, the dimensions of perfectionism have also entered into the regression equation for the dimensions of job expectation as the dependent variable.The dimensions of achievement motivation have also entered into the regression equation for the dimensions of job expectation as the dependent variable.Fourth,achievement motivation play a partially intermediary role in the effects of perfectionism on job expectation.
