Written by Paganini "Violin Bible"--"24Caprices" is a groundbreaking romantic style. Among them,"twenty-fourth first Capriccio in a minor" is to let countless musicians for dumping, some people praised it as "the treasure in the art of violin playing".In the next hundred years, there have been many musicians were adapted to this first works, including Robert·Schumann adaptation of "Paganini theme Capriccio Etudes"; Johannes·Brahms—two volume "variations on a theme of Paganini" adaptation; Franz·Liszt—"a minor adaptation of Paganini practice song"; Sergei·Vassilievitch·Rachmaninoff adaptation of "Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini" double piano and Orchestra Version; Witold·Lutoslawski adaptation of "variations on a theme of Paganini" two piano version; sir Frazil·Say adapted a jazz version of "Paganini". Romantic and modernist composers is retained in the transcriptions of romantic music theme and Paganini’s original virtuoso body style, and formed the different art style. This paper focuses on the two double piano--Rachmaninoff "Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini" and Luts Ralph J "variations on a theme of Paganini" comparative study and interpretation of artistic style, for musicians to correctly understand and perform the work to lay a good theoretical foundation.This paper is divided into three parts:the first part explains the theoretical basis and significance; research topics; briefly introduces Paganini "twenty-fourth caprices and adaptation of" multiple versions. The second part, the author, from the background and the difference of diversification of melody, rhythm, harmony, tonality, using the technique of Rachmaninoff, the "Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini" and Ltoslawski "variations on a theme of Paganini" art style comparison. The third part, the art of interpretation and comparison were performed on Rachmaninoff "Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini" and Ltoslawski "variations on a theme of Paganini". In this paper, a detailed analysis of performance for each variation works, including touching, pedal, dynamics, the tips of the fingers (including two tone, eight degrees, chord, rapid scale) playing skills etc.. And from the three aspects of speed, strength, themes were compared on the interpretation of.
