Niccolo Paganini was a famous Italian violinist and composer in early 19th century, is discussed as the first modern virtuoso, and regarded as an incomparable master in playing violin. He developed the left and right hand technique of playing, and the expressive force of violin thoroughly, as well as expands the capability of performance. He had laid the foundation for the music of instrument and the romantic spirit of playing. As a performer, he insist to use perfect techniques and the unique sound to attract the audience, because of his superexcellent skills and the unique virtuosic playing style, he became the concert star rapidly, and gave tremendous influence on the subsequent performers and composers.Entitled A Study on Nicolo Paganini's virtuosic style of Violin music , this dissertation composed of preface,four chapters of the text and a conclusion: The preface introduced how the topic of this research was selected , the relevant researches form both China and broad. Chapterâ… firstly shows the text material of Paganini's performance,then generally analyzes the circumstance of the times, gave a survey on Paganini's art life, especially on his concert; Chapterâ…¡introduced the important technique method in Paganini's playing, explores the contribution in the line of the string art development, composing of scordatura and the creation of both hands; Chapterâ…¢examines how Paganini used the methods in his composition served for his virtuoso performace; in Chapterâ…£the author examines the influence and the appraisement of Paganini and his style of performace. The appendices include Paganini's chronology, list of works and concerts, as well as "Paganini's concert" which composed by Heine. Heinrich.This dissertation concerns a disputed musician in the string art, the author attempts to generalize Paganini's art and contribution neutrally, finally give an all-sided comprehension of him.
