Research teaching is a new teaching concept, teaching methodand teaching mode. It plays an important role in fostering aresearch consciousness and research ability and innovation abilityof talents, promoting the development of the undergraduateteaching reform, improving the discipline teaching and the qualityof teaching. The execution of research teaching in Chinese foreignliterature course is not only the need of curriculum reform, but alsothe need of the development of subject itself. This thesis mainlyfrom five aspects of foreign literature research teaching toexpound, hoping to deepen the understanding of research teaching,promote the application of inquiry teaching in undergraduateteaching.The first part explored the source of the research teaching,comb the development of the research teaching context,summarized the meaning of research teaching, generalized theprogress on research teaching in this years. On this basis,discussed the significance of this study. The second part explored the relationship between teachersand students in the teaching of foreign literature research. In ourcountry, the teacher of literature research teaching is not only thenarrator of the course, and of course participants, researcher,organizer, instructor and facilitator. Students is not only theknowledge of the recipient, as well as the main body of learningactivities, the researchers and creators of knowledge. Therelationships between teachers and students is no longer thetraditional teaching of the subject and object relations, but equaland harmonious dialogue relations, is a research to the relationshipbetween teaching and research-based learning.The third part explored the execution of research teachingmethod in foreign literature. The execution of research teaching inthe foreign literature teaching, can use many kinds of teachingmethods, this paper mainly discussed the problem teaching method,situational simulation teaching method, the use of comparativeteaching and role teaching, combining teaching examples analysisthese teaching methods, in order to provide reference for teachingforeign literature research.The fourth part discussed how to promote research-basedteaching strategy in the foreign literature course, from the school,teachers, students explore the three aspects. School is the leaderof teaching work, to provide appropriate teaching environment forresearch teaching, teaching and scientific research, thecombination of building research teaching mechanism. Teacher isthe dominant force in teaching activities, to guide students inlearning, and students’ learning includes not only the classroom learning, but also after class learning, teachers need to be familiarwith the teaching link, the use of language skills, organize lectures,academic report, through the combination of classroom andextracurricular achieve good teaching effect. Students are the mainforce of learning need to constantly enrich themselves, improveindividual research ability and innovation ability.The fifth part summarizes the importance of the researchteaching, and put forward the advantages and disadvantages ofinquiry teaching in undergraduate course shall, for the furtherdevelopment of research-teaching puts forward personal advice.
