The Study Of The Spread、Industry And Ecology Of Early Film In Beijing And Tianjin(1896-1931)

In this paper, the Beijing-Tianjin region of the film were taken as the research object. Through the study of the relevant newspapers, magazines and books, we tried to restore the primary outline of the survival condition of the movie filmed from1896to1931.In this paper, this issue was elucidated in the aspects such as cinema morphology and marketing, the production, distribution, exhibition of the film, the newspaper about film, film critics, the audiences of film, etc. To some extent, the development of the film’s nationalization and localization were affected by the political, economic and cultural ecology in Beijing and Tianjin. During the past30years, the silent fragmental film were replaced by the film with sound; the show place were transferred from the tea garden and theater to the professional cinema; the audience include a number of lower classes, intellectuals, nobles and officials. Movie screen, sound, acting, directing, cinematography and other technical are improving. The properties such as morality, politics, aesthetic, society were continually shown in the movie and they offered a wealth of material for the study of the ecology of early film in Beijing and Tianjin.
