Structural particle “De”,as adverbial mark, doesn’t go after all the adverbs. Theappearance rules of adverbial mark “De” have attracted a great deal of attention fromthe grammatical field, but the problem isn’t completely resolved. Although it’s anontological research, the value of application is great from the perspective ofTCFL(Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language).Adverbial mark “De” belongs to the characters of Level A in The Outline onChinese Vocabulary and Chinese Character Rank, which belongs to grammar items ofLevel A in The Criteria of Chinese Rank and the Outline of Grammatical Rank.Meanwhile, the appearance of adverbial mark is closely connected to the adverbs, thus the research is related to the situation of adverbs in TCFL.The situation ofadverbs belongs to grammar items of Level A and Level B in The Criteria of ChineseRank and the Outline of Grammatical Rank. Therefore, the appearance of adverbialmark is a problem that goes through the entire process of TCFL. Then it should besolved. The ontological research of Chinese and Chinese teaching can be mutuallybeneficial. The problems in teaching accelerate ontological research, making it goesfurther; after the results of ontological research being transformed into teachingachievements, the efficiency of teaching becomes higher. The thesis attempts todiscover the rules for the appearance of structural particle “De”,based on ontologicalresearch, trying to transform it into teaching achievements that can be used in Chineseclass teaching. As for ontological research, the thesis explores it from four aspects: semantics, syntax, meter, pragmatics, hence the rules: firstly, meter and the meaning of adverbis most demanding in the appearance of structural particle “De”: monosyllableacting as adverb,“De” shouldn’t be with it, excluding onomatopoeia; from theperspective of semantics, adverbs can be divided into the restrictive and thedescriptive. The more descriptive, the more need of “De”. On the other hand, therestrictive adverb won’t appear in front of “De”. Secondly, according to the need ofgrammatical structure, only with “De”, the adverb can play its role as an adverb under certain circumstance. Thirdly,“De” needs to appear after the adverb so as toemphasize the adverb. On the contrary, it’s unnecessary.According to ontological research results, the thesis presents the teachingstrategy about the rules of appearance on adverbial mark “De”. The author designs“Four—step Teaching Method” based on the “Simple, Easy Learning” principle, selecting the rules that contains less adverbs with “De”, which greatly makes it easierfor students to master. Moreover, on the condition that the students’ interest oflearning is activated, the way to help students find rules, simplify rules and test theserules is discussed.
