| Chinese character learning plays an important role in Chinese learning foroversea students. Compare to Chinese pronounciation, words and grammer, characterlearning is much harder, students have less motivation to learn as well.This essay selected research objectives based on the comparison ChineseCharacters-teaching part in classic Chinese textbooks for international students. Theessay analyzed students’ writing errors by collecting and organizing their writingmaterials, eventually classified into three categories: strokes errors, component errorsand character errors. Among all of the three categories, the stroke and componentlevel error generated account for most of errors. This result is in line with the actualsituation of initial students in Chinese characters learning.This essay discussed the reasons of writing errors at the angles of the point ofview of Chinese characters, the perspective of the students and the teaching factors.For the part of teaching factors, teachers’ teaching style and textbook outline aretreated as two of the reasons in influencing students learning, and then proved by theexamples in the selected textbooks at the same time.The last part of this article discussed the strategies in solving students’ writingerrors, the component strategy is treated as the mainly one. Also, to combine thetechnology with development trend and multi-media application is an availablemethod as well. |
