The Study Of Tosaka Jun’s Epistemology Thought

China and Japan has a special location relationship and a complex communication history. Reviewing of the communication in Marxist Ideology between these two countries, there has been a long history as well. Japan is the first capitalist country in Asia, and among those countries that transmit and research the Marxist philosophy in an early time. It also has a great influence in the development of Marxist philosophy of our country.According to the academic acknowledged sources of spreading of Marxist philosophy in China, it is thought that the Western Europe, the Soviet union and Japan respectively occupies an important position. As for the Marxist philosophy of the Western Europe and the Eastern Europe Soviet union, they developed earlier in our country and are systematic academic categories. Comparatively speaking, the Marxist philosophy of Japan is in a relatively new category.In the research of post-war Japanese Marxist philosophy (Before the end of the second world war in1945), we can learn about an important person, TOSAKA JUN (1900-1945), from both the dimension of time and theory. As an outstanding communist party member with great perseverance, an excellent revolutionist, theorist and thinker, TOSAKA JUN fulfilled his promise as a staunch Marxist with hard struggle and continuously explores, yet persecuted to death on August9,1945by fascist in Nagano prison. As an important founder of Marxist philosophy in Japan, his theoretical achievements are worthy for us to study as well. Before and after TOSAKA JUN’s death, his theory reached to the highest level of the Marxist philosophy in prewar Japan, and at the same time laid a solid foundation for the development of Marxist philosophy after that.The purpose of this paper is to study TOSAKA JUN’s philosophical theory of pre-war Marxist philosophy, and abstract the epistemological thinking achievements from wide-ranging philosophy area. Then we will conclude and comb the results and built for his epistemological thought architecture, so as to better understand the philosophy of TOSAKA JUN, further refine the Marxist philosophy system, and improve the special study to make a certain contribution.
