In recent years, trading in every country becomes rapider and rapider and produces a great influence. Therefore, as economic activity, business negotiation plays an important role in the world. China entered WTO, hosting the Olympic Games and these bring us more economic opportunities to cooperate with other countries. So business negotiation occupies economical life step by step. We should not only draw our attention to this area, but also regard it as a major subject to research.Seleskovitch is one the founders of Interpretive Theory. He believes that the object of translation is not verbal words. However, it should be information content. Later, as representatives of Interpretive Theory, Seleskovitch, Lederer and Eacute cole Superieure d’Interpretes et de Traducteurs(ESIT), established Interpretive Theory. On the basis of observing analyzing interpreting practice interpreting practice, they found Interpretive Theory of Interpretation. Interpretation includes three main steps:verbal meaning, deverbalization and re-expression. The core concept of theory is deverbalization, its ability and degree decides the success of translation."Sense information" plays an important role in connecting these three procedures and making them understand by listeners. In a nutshell, the process of interpretation is a process of paraphrasing. Meanwhile, the process of paraphrasing is meaning equivalence translation.The thesis discusses business negotiation from Interpretive Theory. The author takes the negotiation between USA HD company and Erdos cashmere sweater factory of Inner Mongolia as an example. First, the author introduces Interpretive Theory, business negotiation and interpretation briefly. Then, the thesis expounds fidelity Principle, equivalence Principle and three processes of theory in detail. Third, the thesis analyzes text from three processes of Interpretive Theory. Last, the author gets some interpretive skills. Based on Interpretive Theory, the thesis analyzes and reasons business negotiation interpretation through related text.
