At the beginning of the21st century, against background of basic music education curriculum reform in our country, the ministry of education promulgated the 《full-time compulsory education music course standard》 and 《general senior high school music curriculum standard》, the promulgation of the new music curriculum standard has brought new changes for basic music education.These new changes put forward higher requirements for music teachers. Music teacher’s quality become one key factor which defines basic music education curriculum reform succeed or not. Therefore, how to adapt to the new curriculum reform requirements of the basic music education, to train qualified music teachers, is a real problem in the normal colleges and universities music major students training.Since the fall of2007, six universities directly under the ministry of education began to recruit free normal and implementation of free normal education. Students free education policy is mainly based on the implementation of the education to cultivate outstanding teachers, embodies the state’s emphasis on education, provides an opportunity for normal colleges and universities teacher education reform. The free normal education has experienced seven years, three graduate took teachers. Whether free normal of normal colleges and universities adapt to the basic music education, its training effectiveness of free normal education can meet the national policy, which are involved in this study. Therefore, on the basis of literature review, this study takes A university musicology professional class of2011, the2012th free normal as the research object, whether adapt music education as the theme, based on literature study, questionnaire Chad method, interview method, case study method and other methods.Respectively from two aspects of theoretical research and practical exploration, the normal colleges and universities teachers foster professional music free normal education whether adapt to the basic music education is discussed in this paper.to free normal don’t adapt to the basic music education, combined with the analysis of the professional courses in A university musicology normal free education, bring forward some proposals to further revision.This paper mainly consists of the introduction and the body, including the following:The introduction part mainly introduces the research background, significance, framework in study, etc.The first chapter, from the theory and a lot of literatures, research basic education under the background of new music curriculum reform in the21st century and new changes the music course standard bring to basic music education. Analyzing the requirements of teachers in music education, and provide theoretical basis for this study, we propose the revision Suggestions.The second chapter is the musicology (normal free education) of A university curriculum text study, From the perspective of curriculum content, comparative analysis the curriculum content in professional courses in the grade2007,2008, A university of musicology (normal free education).The third chapter is the statistics and analysis of questionnaire survey. Mainly for data statistics of the questionnaire and arrange interviews, and the analysis of free normal to adapt to the basic music education, finally provide factual basis for this study.The fourth chapter is the conclusion thinking and suggestions. Through analyzing the overall summary of this research, conclude the adaption and inadaptation of free normal basic music education.
