The Research On Director Wang Hao-wei

over the years in the academic field of films, the discussion on the "fourth generation" directors is somehow chilled. On one side is the study of the Former three generations, on the other side is the hit on the "Fifth generation", the "forth generation" is held up in between.In fact, the contribution made by the "forth generation" directors is indelible, especially by the women directors. They share the same value of the male directors. By combining the self art experience and the value of the certain age, the women directors created amount of mainstream which express the spirit of the age from the unique perspective of feminine.Among the women directors in the "forth generation ", quite different from the sensations, as a particular person, Wang Hao-wei has always maintained her characteristic. She, as in the rare classic genre among the "forth generation" directors, different from the explorers which holds social critique and the entertainers dedicated to the commercialization of the films, extends the sense of identity of the tradition to the most.This thesis focusing on the creation directed by Wang Hao-wei. analyzes the three series of light comedy, emotional serious drama and prosaic film to discover the change in the process of directing.This thesis contains three parts. The first part is about the Wang’s light comedy. Taking<Qiao Zhe Yi Jia Zi> as an example, it analyzes Wang’s exploration in the comedy creation from the historical background, the technique of comedy, the importance of the actors and the defects and deficiencies. The second part is about the change of the value of the director herself and of the age. It explains the phenomenon that heroine walks from the light into the chaos in her scripts. The third part is the key to the thesis. By the works<Xi Zhao Jie>,<Shi Xin De Cun Zhuang> and<Oh, Xiang Xue>, it details the technique Wang uses to prose the film.
