It is a very important issue for college students to adapt to college life,especially for freshmen in medical colleges.This is not only related to their physical and mental health,but also to their smooth development of life in the future.This study based on medical college,insight into the status of the medical college college freshmen adapt to college life and its influencing factors,and according to the results of the study,put forward the corresponding education suggestions,in order to make medical college freshmen to better adapt to college life and to contribute to improve the mental health level.This article mainly uses the quantitative research and the qualitative research unifies the method to carry on the research to the medical college freshmen’s adaptability condition.First of all,I use the Personality Questionnaire Scale for College Studentsfor all the new Cangzhou Medical College students to test,a total of 3426 people participated in the evaluation,3324 valid questionnaires were recovered,the effective recovery rate was 97.02%.After understanding the mental health status of newborn students,the author analyzes and summarizes the difference of the demographic variables,such as gender,whether single parent,only child,non-only child,urban and rural source.Then the five students selected in the questionnaire were semi-structured in depth interviews,the interview content is converted into text by recording,and the text is qualitatively analyzed by using the rooted theory.The medical specialties are summarized from the text The characteristics of the new students,the maladjustment and the factors that affect the new students’ adaptation.With both parts,the conclusions are as follows:1.According to the scoring and screening evaluation standard of Personality Questionnaire Scale for College Students,the screening rates of the three types of students were 11.40%,27.95% and 60.65% respectively.The results show that the mental health of college freshmen in the basic distribution of the basic,but still not optimistic.2.The current medical college freshmen there are the following questions:(1)environment to adapt to difficulties,interpersonal tensions;(2)mood swings will be weak;(3)lack ofconfidence,worry about the future;(4)physical and mental symptoms.3.There were significant differences between single-parent and non-single-parent families in the key item 8 question.4.Freshmen maladaptive status mainly in learning,life,interpersonal relationships,occupational role selection,physical and psychological symptoms and so on.In addition,in based on the results of this study,the article also puts forward some targeted education suggestions. |
