A Study On Configuration And Development Of Character Form About The Ancient Characters Including The Character "You(é…‰)"

The research on the configuration theory of ancient characters should be basedon the sufficient and accurate configuration analysis about ancient character formmaterials, we not only analyze the ancient character form material of the samehistorical period, but also analyze the character form development of the same wordfrom the historical point of view. Only in this way, can we draw a comprehensiveand precise configuration theory of ancient characters, which is a true reflectionof historical rule about Chinese characters’ development, what’s more, this theoryis beneficial to the further study on the Chinese character theory. In this paper,guided by “make the whole into consideration, but do the job bit by bit”, we choosethe ancient characters including the character “you(酉)” as the object of study,collect extensively the ancient characters including the character “you(酉)” fromthe oracle bones inscription of Shang Dynasty to the bronze inscription and thecharacters on bamboo slips of Han Dynasty, analyze the configuration and thecharacter form’s development of these characters one by one. What’s more,characters are the symbols for recording the language, so in this paper, we analyzeand reorganize the linguistic meaning which these words including the character“you(酉)” record in specific context.
