At the state intangible cultural heritage of great importance and support background, Wuqiang implemented the "culture of the county" and "cultural industry" development strategy. This thesis was based on Wuqiang folk pictures to build on the "cultural brand" strategy, for its visual language redesign to make depth research. By Wuqiang folk pictures collation of relevant information to define derivatives and products, re-creation and re-design concept, which determined the scope of the study was in connection with Wuqiang folk pictures derivatives related to the visual language redesign. Meanwhile, through the field research, analyzed the market situation for visual language redesign of Wuqiang folk pictures, presented innovative visual language that followed the principles and specific operational strategies.The main contents included the following five parts:The first part was the research background and scope; reviewed of relevant research at home and abroad; clarified the significance of the research value; and described the research methods; concluded innovation of this paper.The second part was based on extensive references, analyzing the visual language of Wuqiang folk pictures from both "form and style" and "auspicious culture", while the lateral dimensions to compare with the visual language of YangLiuqing, YangJiabu, TaoHuawu and Mianzhu folk pictures, which summed up the characteristics of the visual language of Wuqiang folk pictures.The third part was through field research, a comprehensive analysis of the market situation about the visual language redesign of Wuqiang folk pictures and its present existing problem, coming up with the necessity and value of Wuqiang folk pictures’visual language redesign.The fourth part was in the view of the actual situation, put forward the specific policy of Wuqiang folk pictures’visual language redesign. Meanwhile, the author was based on his own understanding with the visual language redesign of Wuqiang folk pictures, made a series of exploratory design for Wuqiang traditional boutique folk pictures"three fish fight Month".The fifth part was the conclusions, presented the outlook of the visual language redesign of Wuqiang folk pictures, and pointed out the shortcomings of the paper in study.
