Research On Application Of Video Clips In The Teaching Of Chinese As A Foreign Language

Film and television teaching has a long history of development with the second languageteaching in foreign countries, and achieved significant progress. The starting point of time tostudy this problem at China was later than some of the world’s countries started relatively early,the starting level is not very high,however, research in this field has been paid more and moreattention.Compared with the traditional paper media, video clips used in teaching Chinese as aforeign language, has a unique advantage. Teaching Chinese as a foreign language also need thisnew teaching methods.Video clips in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language has someadvantages, for example, helps to overcome the barrier of language and helps repair the shortboard between target language and parent language.Video clips used in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language as an effective teachingmethod, is an important product of “Chinese fever”. And it is one of the important reasons tochoose the topic. The video clips should be adhered to the interest, targeted, appropriate andpractical principles.
