Study On The Patterns Of Central Asia Samite

This paper systematically studies the pattern of Central Asian brocade by using comparative studying between literatures, images and substance. This not only promotes the development of Central Asian brocade researching area, provides detailed information of this area, but also provides abundant materials and evidences for the studying of communication between China and Central Asian area, the national costume and art in the Western areas of China, the development of textile industry in our country.The brocade pattern of Central Asian is studied in this paper:not only brocades produced by local textile workers in ancient Central Asian, but also brocades produced by textile workers of ancient Central Asian who migrated to ancient China, or brocades produced by them which combined with Chinese textile technique and pattern. Brocades with imitative pattern of Central Asian which produced by Chinese textile workers is not in the range of study in this paper. These brocades is just used for comparative analyzing in colors and patterns.There are four studying aspects in this paper. Firstly, this paper describes the archaeological discoveries of Central Asian brocade. Secondly, classified studying of brocade pattern of Central Asian is studied, this is an important content in this paper. Also, the pattern of Central Asian brocades is studied systematically. Finally, this paper describes the development of the pattern of Central Asian brocades and relevant art products.The results indicate that:most birds is in pairing in the ribboning birds pattern, there are circular and elliptical in the looping ring, there are four kinds of connection types in the looping ring:looping pattern, small joint ringing, size scattered joint ringing and no joint ringing. There are two kinds of ringing circle:smooth curve and folding line. The arrangement mode of the looping ring and the birds’ pattern accords the up-down-left-right mode. The small looping rings are more changing and colorful then the bigger looping rings. The mouth, neck, belly and tail of the birds are decorated by looping ring, and ribbons are tied at the back of neck.Standing birds are birds without ribbons at the back of neck. There are two kinds standing birds’ pattern:petal loop and heart loop. The petal of standing birds is different than ribboning birds’, most is the eudipleural petals. There are common characteristics of standing birds:complex model, rich colors, smooth lines, flower platform and the birds, heart and petal looping ring.The lions are exquisite and colorful, standing in pairs in the looping ring. The partition-color characteristic is obvious. Except the small pointed petal pair lions brocade, others are above the flower platform. Each lion has triangular wings from top to bottom, with flowers at the side. But the mode of assistant flowers is diversified.In the deer patterns, all of the looping ring deer patterns are less colorful, simple sculpt. And there is only one stout deer in the pattern. But the petal ring deer patterns are colorful, with complex sculpt. Also there are two deer with slim body in the pattern. There are small loops connections in the looping ring deer patterns, but not in the petal ring deer patterns. The structure of looping ring deer patterns is more abstract, but it’s more realistic in the petal ring deer patterns. There aren’t flower platform in the looping ring deer patterns, but the deer are always standing on the flower platform in the petal ring deer patterns.There are two kinds of cow brocade:single looping ring cow brocade and pairs looping ring cow brocade. The horse brocade is always partition-color, but the color of the looping ring Pegasus brocade and the without looping ring Pegasus brocade is monotonous and less-changing. The structure of geometry looping ring brocade is cuter, but it’s more realistic in the looping ring Pegasus brocade and the without looping ring Pegasus brocade.There are small flower sheep brocade, circle sheep brocade, square sheep brocade and irregular sheep brocade. In the small flower sheep brocade, there are small flowers decorating on the sheep, and the color is changeful. Similar, there are circles or squares decorating on the sheep in the circle sheep brocade and the square sheep brocade. But the color is less changeful. Also, in the irregular sheep brocade, irregular but changeful shapes are decorated on the sheep.Most of the Central Asian animal pattern brocades are weaved by red, yellow and blue silks. In the bird brocades, red and dark red is used for background color, green, dark blue, yellow is always used for decorating. But in the lion brocades, deer brocades, cow brocades, horse brocades, pig brocades, and the sheep brocades, the background color is always red and yellow. The most Senmrv brocades are using green as their background color, but the decorating pattern is neither colorful nor changeful.
