The Historical Process Of Multiethnic Inhabitation Formation In Gannan District

Gannan District is located in the junction of Gansu. Qinghai and Sichuan provinces. It is the most important geographical position which is seem as the buffer zone between China and other countries in ancient times. It also plays a great role in northwest frontier defense, the exchange and integration of national economy and culture. The multiethnic inhabitaion pattern in Gannan district has a long history process, from the Qin and Han dynasty to Ming and Qing dynasty, no matter how the feudal dynasty changed and no matter which nation is in charge of the whole country. This district is always be a place where multiethnic inhabitation, fusion and multiculture gather together.This paper based on the develop order of Chinese history makes a comprehensive analysis and reveals the historical process of Gannan regional multiethnic inhabitation pattern formation combined with history, ethnology, literature related disciplines theories. The characteristics and rules of the formation of multiethnic inhabitation pattern in Gannan District are also preliminarily discussed and analyzed. Thus, this paper provides valuable historical enlightenment for us to better understand and grasp the formation of unity of pluralistic society of Chinese nation pattern.
