Electronic Teaching Portfolio is one component of all-in-one College Englishstudy package, and plays an important role in College English Teaching. However, thequality of Electronic Teaching Portfolio cannot fully meet the needs of teaching andlearning. The author mainly discusses how to improve the quality of ElectronicTeaching Portfolio.In the first part, the author studies the literature research about the ElectronicTeaching Portfolio in the field of foreign language teaching, and summarizes theadvantages and disadvantages in the predecessors’ researches, and then it finds out theproblems existing in Electronic Teaching Portfolio.In the following part, the study analyzes and summaries the problems existing inthe Electronic Teaching Portfolio works, which are from the competition of ElectronicTeaching Portfolio held by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press. Then, theauthor analyzes the reason of these problems through questionnaires survey.In the last part, the study puts forward applying the ADDIE Model to the designof Electronic Teaching Portfolio. In each phase of ADDIE Model, the author providesthe feasible suggestions and details. Additionally, the study shows a corrective case tosupport these suggestions above.
