The Research Of Auspicious Patterns In The Qing Dynasty Blue And White Porcelain

In the Qing Dynasty, the blue and white porcelain was known as the developmentof "golden age" in the history.In this period, the decoration of the blue and whiteporcelain has reached the state of "must have the intention to pursue, intention will beauspicious".Combined auspicious patterns with the decoration art of the blue andwhite porcelain, the blue and white porcelain has more cultural connotation. In thispaper, through the classiifcation method, summarized method, comparison andstatistics and other research methods, using relevant knowledge of historicaldocuments, we probed the classification,the meaning expression of contents, thetechnique of expression，the cultural connotation of the auspicious patterns in the QingDynasty blue and white porcelain.This paper embarks from the elements of composition of blue and white porcelain,the auspicious patterns of the Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain can be dividedinto patterns, the story category items, animals and plants, auspicious animals, writingpoetry and mixed type etc. These auspicious patterns through the expression of thepattern and shape, reasonable use of space, the drawing technology，the unique moral ofeach auspicious pattern played most incisive. By contrast, we found that theseauspicious patterns were closely linked with people’s social life at thattime,meanwhile,compared to the Yuan and Ming dynasties,these auspicious patternshave the dual attributes of the inheritance and development.Talk about the culturalconnotation of the auspicious patterns in the Qing Dynasty blue and whiteporcelain，they are mainly embodied in religion，folk hero worship, Confucian ethicsand so on.Along with social progress and people’s aesthetic taste changes，the contentsand performance practices of the blue and white porcelain auspicious patterns hasinjected new vitality,the decorative arts of the blue and white porcelain had madeforward progress.
