As goods used for the exchange under the traditional trading style marriage customs, Child bride drifted away from the development of the times and literature realm. This paper,reviewing the evolution of the child bride image in the entire history of literature, focuses on the the child bride image in modern literature, studies its image characteristics and narrative features.On this basis,this paper puts forward the fundamental characteristics of child bride image in literary writing:The exiled aphasiac.However, this exiled groups in modern writers, especially the male writers’ pen,is existence full of paradoxes:On the one hand,standing on the position of the enlightenment,the writers negate and criticize thoroughly the phenomenon of child bride marriage customs and the child bride image;on the other hand,based on the humanitarian position,they identify with existence of child bride.This paper studies and discusses the child bride image in modern literature from four aspects. Firstly, tracing the history of the system of child bride and image change. Secondly, combing the child bride image throughout the evolution in the history of Chinese literature from the diachronic latitude, in order to clarify their position in literature history;Thirdly, based on the connotation of the image ontology meaning, exploring type traits of child bride image in modern literature; Fourthly, returning to the narrative features of the characters in novels, this paper explores the reflection phenomenon and the value of child bride in modern literature from the narrative ethics, narrative mode and narrative perspective,as well as puts up with the significance and trap of the female images in modern literature and in female literature.
