Academic procrastination refers to the procrastination of individual in school situation and the procrastination related to the academic activities. Academic procrastination leads to the academic task failed to timely and not efficiently, which produces the emotions like anxiety and tension, so as to affect negative influence in students’ cognition, behavior and so on. The purpose of this study is to know the present status of college students’ academic procrastination in our country, and discuss the relationship between self-worth, moral sensitivity and academic procrastination, so as to provide certain theoretical basis for means of intervention and educational countermeasures for college students’ academic procrastination, which in order to help them overcome this behavior.This study is on the basis of widely collecting the literature, with544college students of three universities in Wuhan as subjects, which inspect the current situation and characteristics of the college students’ academic procrastination through the questionnaire investigation, and discusses the relationship between self-worth, moral sensitivity and academic procrastination of the college students. The results found that:(1) Overall, academic procrastination phenomenon is not very serious on college students, but there is still24.64%,nearly a quarter of college students with this behavior.(2) In the aspect of demographic variable, the academic procrastination of college students exists significant difference on different gender. It is specifically showed on that the academic procrastination of male college students is higher than that of female college students. In terms of grades and majors, there are no significant differences. Interaction exists between gender and grade. The self-worth of college students shows significant difference on gender and majors. At the same time, there exists interaction between gender and grade, grade and major. In the moral sensitivity of college students, dispositional moral sensitivity shows significant differences in gender and majors, and it exists interaction between gender and grade. The implicit theories of moral sensitivity has not show significant difference on variables. But it has the interaction between gender and grade, and grade and major.(3) There exists significant correlation in college students’ academic procrastination, self-worth and implicit theories of moral sensitivity. Self-worth and the moral sensitivity have prediction effect for academic procrastination. A multiple dimensions of self-worth and moral sensitivity have prediction effect on academic procrastination.According to the results, this study suggest that some courses which could improve college students’ self-worth and moral sensitivity, especially implicit theories of moral sensitivity,should be opened on the curriculum of colleges and universities. At the same time, college students’ psychological counseling and psychological intervention should be strengthened. And the above two factors can be involved in the process of psychological counseling and intervention. That is of great significance to help students to overcome the academic procrastination.
