Academic procrastination is a common behavior among college students,which can be characterized by one’s preference in dealing with things that appeared to be pleasant first while putting off those things that are urgent.It is found that research on the academic procrastination from home and abroad are plentiful,however there is few research that have been conducted for the investigation of the academic self-efficacy and psychological resilience.Therefore,this study targets college students at different stages of study as samples to explore the impact of academic self-efficacy on academic procrastination and its mechanism.Based on the existing research,this paper included the characteristics of college students in their learning and created a mediation model with regulation:Psychological Resilience Plays an Intermediary Role in College Students’ Academic Self-efficacy and Academic Procrastination,and the rear half path of the mediation process are adjusted by the learning phase.Through the study of the mechanism of action in the practical education activities,this paper aims to provide a new direction that can help intervene,improve or even reduce college students’ academic procrastination.This research adopts the academic self-efficacy scale,mental resilience scale and academic procrastination scale(PASS),543 college students from Lvliang university,Shanxi university of finance and economics and Hainan university were investigated by questionnaire(515 valid subjects).By using SPSS 22.0 and SPSS PROCESS to process and the data analysis,the following results are drawn:(1)Academic procrastination is a common phenomenon among college students,but the level of procrastination is not high,and the level of procrastination varies from task to task.The difference in the major of the students is a significant factor in the academic procrastination,while factors such as gender,home address and others also contributed to differences in academic procrastination,but did not reach the significant level(2)Psychological flexibility shows significant differences in gender、home address and professional factors;(3)Academic self-efficacy has significant differences in gender and home address factors,and academic self-efficacy has marginal significant differences in student with different majors.(4)The academic self-efficacy of college students is significantly positively correlated with psychological elasticity,and the psychological elasticity is significantly negatively correlated with academic delay.The academic self-efficacy is significantly negatively correlated with academic delay;(5)Resilience plays a part role in mediating between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination of college students;(6)The academic path of college students’ academic self-efficacy through the influence of psychological elasticity on academic delay is regulated by the learning stage.That is,the mediating role of psychological elasticity exists only in the junior college,while the mediating effect of psychological elasticity does not exist in undergraduate and graduate level.
